Rarely seen examples of Berrima’s early colonial architecture will soon be open to the public.

The National Trust and Harper’s Mansion coordinated initiative includes inspections of public and private heritage properties, on both sides of the Wingecarribee River.

Schedule:

  • Saturday morning, 10.30 am – 12.00 noon – introductory talks by renowned heritage architects at the Berrima Anglican Church Hall.
    • Clive Lucas – Approaches to renovation and restoration (some local examples)
    • Stuart Reid – Managing heritage landscapes: Buildings and their settings
  • Saturday & Sunday afternoon, 12.00 noon – 4.00 pm – Walks and private house visits (4 properties each afternoon, ranging from 1834 and 1860)

The weekend’s events provide an important opportunity to raise much needed funds for both Harper’s Mansion and the National Trust. All registrants are welcome to complementary drinks on Saturday evening between 4.30 pm and 6.00 pm at Harper’s Mansion.

Book your tickets here today.
