Bushcare opens new Berrima Bridge

Behind the Little Hand Stirred Jam Shop on the Wilkinson St reserve, the Berrima Bushcare team has just constructed a new crossing over the stream that runs along the reserve, under Wingecarribee Street before emptying into the River behind the Motel. The new entrance leads onto the delightful boardwalk along the side of the stream. Entry also from Wingecarribee Street. Perfect for walking your dog !

Special thanks to team volunteers Rod Blay and Keith Walker-Smith for donations of timber and to Council’s Josh and Mitch for their enthusiastic labouring  and building skills.

Berrima Bushcare holds working bees on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month from 9.30am to 1.00pm. New volunteers welcome. For details, call the Coordinator, Jennifer Slattery, at Council on 0427 108 610, during business hours.
